The MERCHANDIZED collection is a product line

that reimagines the "fixtures”,"supplies," and "utility items"

used within the fictional department store 〈KYOU〉.

Uniforms, novelties, souvenirs, display accessories—

items that could exist anywhere, but don’t exist anywhere at all.

Designed based on imaginary operations, these items are experimental

products that borrow the format of merchandise—

a conceptual back-and-forth between fashion and utility.

Through this collection, KYOU presents the traces of a distribution

system that never existed, as if curated from within

the floors of a fictional department store.
